A low-budget, war-time, psychological melodrama with a weak script. The wardrobe is thrown together and the set is a hiking trail somewhere in California. However, the detached strangeness, some tense scenes, and old timey charm make it perfectly watchable with a runtime of only 1 hour. Considering the release year, this would be one of the earliest instances of the post WW2 moral haze that hangs about every American war.
